Zine Fest Portugal is a festival in the area of ​​alternative editions, with the mission to dynamize the culture and the proximity of the creation and acquisition of self and / or independent editions. IT IS THINK IN PORTUGUESE BUT WITH AN INTERNATIONAL VISION and began in Oporto in 2015, having already passed through the Cedofeita Shopping Center, Mundo Fantasma Bookstore / Shopping Brasilia and Mira Forum. It intends to be, in addition to a CELEBRATION, a means of creation and a platform of MEETINGS AND EXCHANGES OF EXPERIENCES BETWEEN ALL CREATORS, MAKERS AND FANS OF THE WHOLE WORLD, AND ALSO IS OPEN TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE CURIOSITY AND WHO WANT TO COME TO KNOW, TO LEARN AND TO PURCHASE DISTINCTIVE EDITONS.

The ZineFestPt proposes a series of activities that aim to reveal the zine´s universe to everyone; micro-publishing, self-publishing, independent and alternative culture associated with books and especially the fanzines!

We want to give an idea of the contemporary art scene in this area, with an exhibition of zines, shopping stalls/trading and sales and opening doors to experimentation in creative activities “do it yourself” (DIY), from simple folding to creating a handbook and also exploring various printing techniques.

O Zine Fest Portugal, é um festival na área das edições alternativas, com a missão de dinamizar a cultura e o acesso à criação e à aquisição de edições próprias e/ou independentes. É PENSADO EM PORTUGUÊS MAS COM UMA VISÃO INTERNACIONAL e começou no Porto em 2015, tendo já passado pelo Centro Comercial de Cedofeita, pela Livraria Mundo Fantasma / Shopping Brasília e pelo Mira Fórum. Pretende ser, para além de uma CELEBRAÇÃO, um meio de criação e uma plataforma de ENCONTROS E TROCAS DE EXPERIÊNCIAS ENTRE TODOS OS CRIADORES, FAZEDORES E FANS DO MUNDO INTEIRO E TAMBÉM ESTÁ ABERTO A TODOS AQUELES A QUEM SUSCITAR CURIOSIDADE E QUE QUEIRAM VIR CONHECER, APRENDER E ADQUIRIR EDIÇÕES DISTINTAS.

O ZineFestPt propõe uma série de atividades que tragam à vista de todos o universo zine; da micro-edição, da auto-edição, da publicação independente e da cultura alternativa associadas aos livros e sobretudo aos fanzines!

Queremos dar uma ideia do panorama artístico contemporâneo nesta área, com uma exposição de zines, bancas de compras/trocas e vendas e abertura de portas à experimentação em atividades criativas “faça você mesmo” | “do it yourself” (DIY), desde a simples dobragem para montar um livro manual a diversas técnicas de impressão.
